I just got an 88 Pajero and it was tapping so I replaced the lifters/ lash adjusters or whatever. Hi i have a van that apparently has had an oil leak problem for a while. fixing not the problem. But I don't want to leave an oil slick and kill any water life by doing it at home plus it is a big job. Whole underside of car plus engine bay. ADVICE NEEDED Ive recently snapper a rocker arm and am in the process of fixing it all but have been told that changing from hydraulic lifters to solid lifters will help prevent the same issue from happening again.
