When there are many electrical components installed in a car, there is a need to control all the electricity flow using the safety of a fuse. As such fuses are important in a vehicle, and if one of them burns, you could experience problems with your vehicle.
The Chevrolet Silverado has two fuse box locations. The main fuse box is in the engine compartment on the driver’s side. It should be easy to find since it is quite large. Once you find it, pull the lid to open the fuse box.
On the inside, there are two fuse boxes, one on the right and one on the left of the instrument panel. You can access the fuse box by pulling on the access door on the extreme right and extreme left of the dashboard.

These instructions were based on a 2016 model, so if you have a different year model Chevy or would like to see more information on the fuse diagrams, you can find much more detail in the Chevrolet Silverado Owner’s manual
