Engine: 4G15

Exhaust: Standard

Suspension: Standard (Similar to a landcruiser sad.gif )

Wheels: Standard

Modifications: Lancer front end fitted, Resprayed in Audi Sprint Blue

Stereo Audio / Visual: Radio works smile.gif

Estimated Power: Two tenths of F#@K all.

I have here what I call my Lancer UTE. It is of course a Proton Jumbuck, but given that proton use the Lancer platform, I decided to go a little different and fit a lancer sedan front end, whilst still maintaining the Jumbuck sideskirts and flares.

As you can see, It has had a quick respray in Audi Sprint Blue, and the badges/stickers removed, Helps me forget that I drive a Jumbuck/Bumfuck/Dumbfuck etc lol. All this was done by "Specialty Paint Projects" in Labrador on the Gold Coast. Check out thier facebook page "The paint project" for pics of some very cool import and muscle cars etc.

In reality, it is a great little daily driver, very handy for work, and for odd jobs around the house (I live on acreage).

Dude that is sweet as! Much better than the stock front end and I like how you kept the jumbuck wheel arches up front too.

This is awesome. I have a black one as a work ute. I have always wanted to do a III front end conversion! the evo III bumpers have flares that match the guard flares
    Evo front

    Flareless GSR front

The white one is actually where I got the idea. Had a Lancer wagon front end available to me, so went for that. A big front bar is no good for me anyway. And besides, with an EVO front, you kinda have to have the EVO running gear too smile.gif

Always liked the idea of an AWD 4G63 one of these. This one looks waaayy nicer with the front end change though. Nice daily.

Yeah yeah, always someone with the crash test. Still far safer than my old AE86 daily. Can't expect a car designed in the early 90s to compare to current stuff.

The blue 1 used to be my mates and the white 1 belongs to Benny in WA, both of the above ones have been converted AWD

Your ute looks really good, only thing that would top it off is a cc lancer GSR front lip (to match the skirts)

Just wondering did you have to make any adjustments to fit the front bumper? In going to purchase and fit and evo 3 bumper but I'm not sure on what alterations are needed for it to fit.
