Got a swift Gti turbo!! Was up the coast the other day and on the way back cracked the radiator, therfore no coolant runnign through the engine. engine obviously overheated as i didn't realise the heat gauge rise, so to cut a huge story short, got a tow truck to get my back to brisbane. i replaced the radiator and got the head inspeacted through p... more

By the means of getting the most power out of doing engine work and exhaust mods which car would be better, the supercharged v6 monaro or the v8 more

when a soarer changes gear (auto) the computer introduces a miss for half a second or so I know the motor does this to protect the gearbox and tyres ect but i want to disable it without chageing to an aftermarket comp it there any sensors i could disable or any ideas more

Just out of interest does anyone know anything about the RB30DET (not the RB30ET which came in the VL turbos) such as what car/s they came in etc. more

OMg they kick ass, a mate of mine got his whole exhaust done tops of pistons rocker covers manifold done and fuck me, its cool it droped like 10 degrees off of the engine temp, and yea after givin it a good ol burst u can grab the extractors and not burn ya hand its hot but not like FUCKING HELL hot. tis teh shiznit more

Im thinking of doing a project car, a vitara * or seria * with a CA18det . now most of the work isnt a problem but ! im unsure of of the gearbox setup in the ol'd suzies . any one have any insight to them? i relise that i would mostliky need to use the ca's gearbox. but! do the suzie's gb's like the east west... more

I'm pondering over whether to start saving for an exhaust or not I guess it would be really nice to get that subi boxer engine purr coming from the engine, but I also don't want something particularly loud.. just something I can hear I guess without it being overbearing.. Hey guys Now I know that to get a good start in a manual u clutch in rev it to about 3.5-4 and then drop the clutch and u get a fairly decent start but how do u do this with an auto???? is their any way to rev it up and go without putting it in N and then driopping it into D (thats bad)...
