Mate, theres not "cheap" mod in those motors.
Exhaust, Intake and all the usual stuff but its not really worth it unless you have deep pockets.

Don't even bother, you drive a six cylinder barge. I have an 09' SV6 ute and its a land barge too. Just leave it till your off your P's (less than two years for you) and buy a V8 calais then or even start saving for a series 1 VE Senator as they will be very affordable in a couple of years time if your after performance and comfort.

But if you want to throw money away; diff gears, shift kit (for your slush box), OTR CAI and extractors to finish off your exhaust. No need for a tune as these are pretty well tuned from factory. Then if you want to spend more, a subtle nitrous kit with a 75 shot would keep you happy for a little while.

i have a ve sv6 and im on my p plates 8 months to go til opens they are a very heavy car i would just put extractors, full stainless or mild steel exhaust ,cai, and take the rear mufflers out and replace with straight piping gives the touring car sound and crackles and now have the 4.11 diff gears installed. have a look at the vid of my tank

Don't bother it's a land barge. The earlier V6's were bad enough to waste money on but the VE's are even worse.

i have a sx6 commodore and from what i can tell everything is done pretty well how they come they do already have a decent amount of power for there capacity unlike the older commodores .
One mod i would really like is for the stability control system to be completely removed its dangerous and stops any fun .

Listen to this video... note the 'pssssccchhhttt' noise when the throttle closes?? That sound is the only way to get cheap reliable horsepower from an Alloytec wink.gif
