I have a set of 245/40/18's on my WH with no issue of clearance. But yes 45's will hit. |

these VE SS rims you have, have they been machine to fit a pre VE?? Changing tyres will not fix it if not. |

i got ve ssv rims and they have 245/45/18 and want to know if 245/40/18 will miss the strut the 45 just rub 235/40R18 might be a better choise, tyre deflection while cornering can still cause rubbing issues due to the wtidh of the stock VE rim these VE SS rims you have, have they been machine to fit a pre VE?? Changing tyres will not fix it if not. ![]() Obviously they would be machined because if the centre bore was stock VE, the tyre would not even be close enough to the strut as they would not seat over the hub etc. |
