does anybody know if the vz ssz headlights will fit into a series 2 vy berlina without changing the front bar at all

could be wrong but i thought the headlights were still the same dimensions, ring holden

WAT? Holden wont know. They'll check the part numbers (MAYBE), discover that they are totally different numbers. Tell you "no" and hang up. They wont fit without changing the front bar.

99% sure they wont. Many people have talked of it on justcommodores and although it was a while ago, im pretty sure the general consensus was it wont work. (they way you want it anyway.)

It won't work. Different guards and front bar are 2 of the major things I can think of off the top of my head.

Guards are identical between VY and VZ(my old VY ute has an ex-VZ guard), bonnets and bumper bars are different

The VZ headlights will screw in but it will leave an ugly looking hole where the 'tear drop' of the VY parker globe is supposed to go

After doing some research your right. How ever will need new bar and bonnet.

or fit a VY HSV bumper bar and reo bar, since the VZ headlights were originally VY HSV items smile.gif
