So I'm sitting here thinking about my 32, and Driftlab has made the good point that it's so much easier using it as a track car (thanks for putting that in my head Davey ![]() Anyway, I know the logical choice would be some sort of Commo/Falcon V8 or a 4WD...but I don't want any of them if I was going to have a daily tow car. What else would that leave? I was maybe thinking a JZX100 Chaser, but I wanted opinons first. I'd also prefer manual even though I know it's easier with an Auto. Thoughts/suggestions? |

You are going to have to find something that has the correct towing capacity before just doing it. You may not think about it but if something does happen and you have the wrong one you will be up for a lot of money cuz insurance will not cover anything. |

Toyota Aristo Could be good... You are going to have to find something that has the correct towing capacity before just doing it. I've seen what can happen from a car dragging to much weight...it's nasty. |

A JZX100 Chaser only has a tow capacity of 750kg. There would be no way id be towing a trailer and vehicle with anything less than a landcruiser or patrol. |

My 80 series cruiser tows a car trailer and car well, but if your towing every weekend remember all the wear on components brakes, clutch etc little jap imports are made to have 2t of trailer pushing them from behind when you brake, even with trailer brakes its still fucking heavy. Dont just think any car will tow a car trailer and car. Make sure your tow vehicle manufacturer actually specifys that it can tow 2t+. Oh trust me I wouldn't get any car to do it, I've seen the nasty shit that can happen without the right car so that's why I'm asking haha. I thought the only decent cars would be a Patrol or Landcruiser, I just don't want to buy a 4WD for just towing. Because I don't want a 4WD ![]() |
