I am a massive fan of the old mitsubishi magna. oopsie.gif
Pretty sad hey.

My VR6 is nearly due for replacment, and i want to do somthing a bit differant.
While i have had a magna before, a TR SE 2.6 manual, on 17" wheels, big brakes, exhaust intake and a heap of inteour mods. Over all, i thought it was pretty cool.
But there was a heap of stuff i want to that i couldn't at the time.
But now i think its time.

Plan.

TR or TS Magna wagon, V6, manual. White.
high compression pistons, big cams, 3 into 1 extractors, 2.5" pipe, big throttle body. ect.
Big brakes.
17" rims. 8" fronts, 9.5" rears, under fibreglass flairs
Lowered susspention, coliovers on the front, lowered springs and adjustible shocks on the rear. Uprated sway bars.
Sports seats.
White dials.
parabolic headlights.
Letterbox grill

Most of this stuff i can do.

Except the flairs.

I don't want monster flairs, just big enough to cover the 17x9.5" rear rims. which should fix the fact that the rear track of a magna is narrower than the front, evening things out visually.
I like the look of Evo 6 rear gaurds.

Anyone know who can do such things?

PLease, no flameing, i know exactly how i want this car to look. And it will be the toughest damn wagon getting about this side of an RS260.

They seem like pretty big wheels, and bigger at the rear than the front? I don't care what the aesthetics would be like, I don't think that'd be the best idea. Get some spacers or different offsets to fix the track issue?

Otherwise I don't mind the plan, always had a little soft spot for the Magnas, and depreciation is a bitch so you get a fair bit of car for your coin. It'd be worth checking out www.sigma-galant.com for some stuff on the engine and drivetrain. Despite their choice of chassis, there's a lot of good knowledge about all sorts of mitsubishi powerplants. I know of one for sure who's built up the exact engine you're after, to similar specs.
