i paid $95 for my set about 4 months ago

always good to upgrade your grounding (depending on vehicle of course). but you dont necessarily have to buy a kit to do it.

Yeah, once you go platinum plugs expect to be paying up around 20-25 per plug as opposed to the usual 4-6 bucks for normal plugs..

Oops, forgot the quote.

Bugger all. Copper plugs are actually slightly better performance wise, although they don't last as long. Platinum plugs are good if it's really hard to get to, like in some cramped engine bays, as you can leave them much longer before replacing them. Also they tend to resist fouling better, so if you're running a modified engine with rich mixtures there also a good idea.

Upgrading electrical systems is very misunderstood. You don't ever really get gains from it, rather after doing other mods the stock system might not be capable, and then you need to upgrade.

I also really hate grounding kits, think they're full of shit IMO. However if you really wanna do it (wank factor) just go buy some welding cable and the high gauge terminals from Jaycar. Same shit, much cheaper even than ebay stuff.
