Log Book Hours - help please

im on the 100 hours log book and its nearly time to send it away
i was just abit worried because the ute ive done 50% of my driving in , the speedo has stopped and ive not been able to record the starting ks and ending ks, its has been recorded by gps though , but will they reject it even if i explain to them ?thankss

they won't check the actual kms on the ute

thats the problem , ive already NA for starting ks and the the amount of ks by the gps for the ending ks
ive doen that for about 60 hours of driving

just but the amount of km the gps says. its not like they are going to know where u have driven

you have to write the k's down so yeh just make them up it should be ok.

My advice would be to discuss this with whoever checks your log books up in QLD. Explain your situation, and how you have improvised.

Might I be the first to advise you don't inform QT that you're driving a vehicle with a broken speedo and odometer? You might just find yourself walking out with a defect notice.

As has been said, they don't check the vehicle odometer. They simply check to ensure the distances you've put generally correspond to how long you were driving. Use the GPS data to inform your distances.
