Never seen something like this before for the back, but possibly someone may make some.. Aren't tail lights on the Commodore utes fairly cheap being so small and basic? In which case it may even be cheaper to replace a broken one than it would be to buy a cover for it.

Think he means like the head light covers, the plastic clip on clear mouldings to protect from rocks etc, think he wants them for the back.

At a guess i think he may be talking about the type that you stick over it to look like they are "round" sections.

I have seen similar things on GSR lancers.

im after somthing like the headlight covers. clear plastic covers.

i enter my ute in a lot of shows with blacked out headlight covrs, just thinkn of doing somthing similer with the rear until i can justify spending $200 on my new tail lights.

=illegal.

this is for a daily driven show ute. the covers would be put on for each show.

seems like the item doesnt exsist sad.gif might hafta just go for the new lights (although $200 seems a lil steep)

What i used to do was cover mine with black contact, just make a template and cut it out easy to put on and peel off.

suggestion appreciated but this isnt for autosalon type shows that are once every few months, the ute show scene has a show every weekend during winter, and at least once per month during the hotter months. not keen on taking the tray install out them removing the liner to swap lights each weekend tongue.gif

really think i might just spend the $200... will completly change the arse end of the ute so i guess i can justify.

i like the contact idea... i have a mate at a printing place... might hafta ask about a few rolls of black signwritting vinal
