Well i want to get my ute lowered 2.5-3 inches in the rear and 1 inch in the front.

Would you prefer blocks or resetting leafs? pedders suspension quoted me 300 for reset leaves (they take out/put back in) and 250 for blocks (they do all the work) and with lowering the front, does widing down the torsion bar work well? or make the ride a hell lot more bumpy?
Also does resetting the leaves make it more bumpy like blocks do?

go reset dude!!!! You can go straight through King Springs in Ashmore for a 3inch reset bud.....thats who pedders use anyway!!!!! Only lowering it in an inch in the front will not change your ride quality very much at all....i wouldnt even bother winding them down an inch!

blocks will be a hell of a lot cheaper (if u do it urself)...mine only cost bout $80 for 3 inch blocks. and 2 hours to do it.

and then i wound down the front bout an inch as well. i havnt noticed any effect on the ride quality....theres still plenty of travel if they're only wound down an inch.

i got 2.5" blocks in the rear, yeah its a bit more bumpy in the suburbs, low speeds 50/60, and the occasional pot hole, and speed bumps become an obstacle, if u hit them hard whoever is in the backseat goes thru the roof laugh.gif

doesnt feel any different on the highway, and im sitting on cut bumpstops in the front

worth it for the looks but laugh.gif

but if uv got the money, reset the leafs, will feel a hell of a lot better

that thing is high as fuck, haha i doubt ride quality would be reduced, they ride like shit standard. blocks will take about 45 minutes maximum and cost you next to nothing. you will want to go lower soon, i did....

2.5"-3" lowering. it's more so the hight of the bump stops and/or the diff in relation to the chassis that will majorly change the bumps you feel.
blocks and resetting leaves will both do that... their not designed to drive smoothly unless if you put half a tonne in the back. cops are less likely to get angry about reset leaves, blocks are cheaper and quicker. i reset my leaves in my datto ute,your choice bro.

yeah i wanna go even lower, but i get alot of attention from the po po as it is being on p's, and i drag ass in a couple palces already, but when i get some money ill make it lower with some reset springs

also, if u go with blocks, spray paint them matte black just so u they dont stand out when u look under the car, most cops wont even realise unless theyre into utes..

but if they are a different colour and stick out like dogs balls theyll ask questions

that is dropped like 7 inches? haha looks sweet man.


Also, got new springs for the back, dropped it 3 inches and 1 inch at the front, get ute back on friday, ill post a pic of how it goes

lol, it came to me for an engine conversion and some chassis work like that- makes it easier to take the body off and on.

as for the jelous 13 year old "condomie13" if you didnt live in queensland you too could own a minitruck instead of being jelous- fuck off to the daycare section....
