The issue of the bends in the pipework was discussed on another forum- The reason being (in this case) for no mandrel bends is that the piping is Titanium, and probably too thin to be bent properly. |

another reason the japs like lobster backs rather than bent pipes....its just easier to get ya tricky bends right. you cut up heaps of small peices about the right shape, keep playing with them turning them around, etc, trying this and that untill they fit right, tack em in place, then take it out of the car, and weld it all up on the bench, and wallah...perfect fit. |
