So you're wondering how the department of transport checks your learner drivers log book as part of the driving test? The general rule of thumb is of course, to do the right thing, and keep a log book in accordance with the guidelines. But let me make it simple for you:
Aside from that, you can also see what other people think and their experiences below... there's also a bit of shady advice for those that are that way inclined. Best of luck in the test! -------------------- :: BoostCruising :: The Automotive enthusiasts site with extensive Car Sales, loads of Car Parts, mags, wheels and Tyre Sales, along with subs, tweeters, head units, speakers, heaps of Car Audio. QUOTE(Salvage @ Jan 9 2009, 07:11 PM) Just wondering, does anyone know how they check the learners logbooks? i know theres an assessor, but what does he do in specific, cause it would take WAY to long to read every line individually. i haven't made any fake entries. im just worried there going to give me a fail cause they may think i made up some:S:S Salvage They just browse over it, make sure nothing looks too suss and then generally will give you no problems with it. |

QUOTE(TUFF VZ @ Jan 9 2009, 07:20 PM) yeh its not that bad i wrote i drove to sydney a couple of times and that and got away with it God you're an idiot. Do you even think about what you write and where before hitting that reply button? Or is that answer too obvious? OT: In most cases they simply peruse entries to ensure it meets the required standards and seems genuine. They're also known to do full audits and check the accuracy of every single entry. Minor discrepancies are tolerated, glaring ones will be dealt with harshly. ROCK ON R~R |

Do the time your suppose to do...they brought in the rule for a reason... so that some day, when leaner drivers get the p's that they may actually be able to safely drive on the road rather then just pass a simple driving test... |

If you absolutely HAVE to cheat on it, just start off by marking the odometer about 10k less than it currently is then make up the entries with a slowly increasing value for the odometer until when it comes time to hand it in your last mark is just slightly less than it is on the car at the time. |

But say your going from suburb (A) to suburb (B) which is 10 minutes away and you drive around in suburb (B) for a long time due to its an industrial estate and is empty on a sunday. How do you log that? |

Anyhow the question has been answered. We don't need advice on ways in which you thinking would be appropriate to fake it. |
