Beattie has reshuffled the cabinet (good boy) and the new Police and Corrective services minister is....

Judy Spence

From the courier mail

" FAMILIES Minister Judy Spence will be moved to the tough Police and Corrective Services portfolio as part of a major Cabinet reshuffle.

It is expected it will take Premier Peter Beattie until tomorrow to finalise details."

You don't think this Judy Spence will come out firing with all the new ways she is going to clean up the streets.???

hopefully however she may be just ignorant enough to not follow up on the actions of the previous minister and address some real issues!

I don’t see much changing really.... all the real decisions are made under the minister (by people who actually know what they are on about) - he or she has much more important things to worry about.

But a change is as good as a holiday, but knowing what Judy Spence is like I think McGrady will have been a holiday smile.gif

From what I hear there are going to be quite a few more portfolio changes / mergers within the QLD Govt coming soon.
