Hey most people advertise there wheels that are for sale saying..

"stud pattern is 5x120, fits holdens and bmw's"

But I have about 3 sets of commodore wheels that don't fit on my bmw...?

being a 5 x 120 pattern that narrows it down to 5 series or 7 series beemers, which all have a 72.6 mm hub lip, its pretty easy to get a wheel repair shop to lathe the centre of the wheel to make them fit, but the other thing to watch is that bmws use bolts to tighten the wheel to the hub, they dont sit on studs so you need to make sure the wheel is mounted to the hub lip without any gap other wise they will shake like crazy even with perfect balancing

5x120 is also uses on E36 and later BMW 3 series. In fact, I'm pretty sure the only BMW that has not used this stud pattern is the E30 and older 3 series and older small BMWs.

Better option still, sell the BMW rims and buy a set that actually is made to fit your Holden
