Hey everyone,
Just been researching the site and Q-Transport and couldn't really come across a form that i have to use in order to change the details for my car. Currently my cars in the middle of a total colour respray from white to blue, so just asking if anyone could help me figuring a way to change my rego details.

Cheers everyone.

Changes to your registration record, following modifications to your vehicle, can only be made in person at a Queensland Transport customer service centre or, if you live in a rural area, a Queensland Government Agency (QGAP) office or Police Station—an inspection of the vehicle may be required.

took all of two minutes to find, and that was going from www.qld.gov.au.

Yeah i found that as well but i was told that i had to get a change of vehicle identification form or something along those lines. The closest form that i could find was the 'Change of Vehicle Particulars Notification' form but it had no option for colour changes.

Wtf?

Just go to Queensland Transport, they'll have to view it anyway so you can pick up the relevant form then. As far as I was aware it was just filling in a form to change registration details. I cbf finding the exact one.

Another vote for changing colour without changing rego details.

It doesnt matter, I got fined in my missus car which is pink and the rego sticker says yellow smile.gif They dont check the rego sticker for the colour.

Just change it when you renew your rego next.

I should say, I didnt get a fine for the rego sticker having the wrong details. They didnt say anything about it eaither.

as Rookie said if you want to do it just drop into the QT office and pick it up, it isn't really that hard.

Its a change of vehicle particulars form.

Go to QLD transport -> Park in the inspection tent.

Fill form out, lady comes out checks engine/vin numbers, confirms color has changed. New rego label comes in the mail.

* Apologies if its been answered above, I started to read & got over the shit replies.

Sorry sir, please forgive us that the question was given on the second post and the rest of us are just saying what we think.

I have done this. the easiest way is go to into QLD transport and they will tell you the form. took about 5 mins, i did it because i got pulled over and asked about whether or not this was my "silver commodore". the cops told me to get my ass to QLD transport and change it as they had followed me as i drove straight past it.

Color is now set to blue.

i'd do it legit and fill out the forms just to save you any hassels in the event that u got pulled over and questioned about it!
