Engine: Was 3.8litre ecotec, now converted to 5.0litre v8
Exhaust: Westside Custom 3" exhaust from extractors back with single 100cpi hi flow cat and xforce muffler, also have a diff dumper when i want it louder.

Suspension: SSL front with ultima shocks, SSSL rear with boags turbo shocks, all bushes replaced and a 4pt camber kit, new p/s rack

Wheels: 20" Zenetti Throwbacks

Modifications: Lexus IS-F Starfire pearlwhite respray, all badges shaved and smoothed over, clear side indicators, tint

Stereo Audio / Visual: Pretty basic but gets the job done, kenwood 3preout headunit, soundstream rubicon 6.5'" splits, soundstream 6" rear fill...kicker 4channel amp and a pioneer 306c sub in a seal box, (eventually going to run twin DD 512's in a custom boot install

Estimated Power: Not enough as always! stroker and turbo maybe on the cards in a long time perhaps!

Future mods:
*Get autometer gauges mounted under stereo console
* Crystal Clear headlights
*VT brake upgrade
* Vy ss pedals
* Extractors to suit the 3" exhaust
*box rebuilt with all the good stuff from craigs autos
*interior!
* engine mods

    Don't mind it at all, a lot tidier than most Commodores of that era these days. VT brake upgrade is definitely not a bad idea. Good work bud smile.gif

    Maybe you posted it on the bombadore forum?.I have to agree that the rims kill it but i understand the effort you have gone to. Don't go with gmax heritage rims,they are dinner plates and shit imo.

    Supersport rims on the other hand would look mint.

    I love the wheels.

    Don't listen to boost judgement. If it doesn't run stickerboms & rota grids they hate it.

    Not really,would be 10x better if they were black or charcoal not chrome.

    Like you said,your vehicle not anybody else's so go for it.

    Venetians are a dying fad.

    Looks sick, after many many months of reading updates on the SC thread the rims have grown on me. They are different, the haters know where they can shove there negativity.

    yer sold the venetians...they didnt suit the pearl paint and looked out of place as i wasnt going for the old school look anymore with the 16's!

    Why does every earlier Commodore have to have some sort of VE rim on it?

    53XXN_ST80
    Post #22

    Because they look great, are cheap and arent dinner plates... plenty of good reasons right there smile.gif

    I think the car looks really good. I actually like the wheels and think they suit the car (they do look HUGE though).
    I like the conversion and the future mods sound good too.
