Hi all,
Some good news for Craig Sadler - owner of SAD78.

On Wednesday Craig became the fastest ZZE123 Toyota Corolla Sportivo in Australia. Craig has followed the "hard tuned atmo" methodology and looks like things are staying to pay off.

Craigs 2 runs were:

14.95 @ 151.7km/hr(94.26mph)
14.89 @ 153.56km/hr(95.42mph)

This now unofficialy makes him the most powerful (126.2FWkW) and the fastest ZZE123 in Australia.

Now just to run those times at a ANDRA sanctioned event to make it official!!

Congratulations Craig from (me) and GroupVIP.org

Cant wait to have the FWD 4AFE & SR20DET records under my belt

Looks like he has a bit of comp though if he wants to hold onto his record, this car did the following time a few months back.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I witnessed this.
I saw the owner of the vehicle, after he'd been called on loud speaker, rushing back to his car, he was in such a rush he actually fell down the stairs of the stands and his hotdog ended up in his face.

Since when are high 14s quick? with 120fwkw he should be running low 14s at least. My mates sr20de pulsar runs lower than that with an exhaust and better cams.

I think they were quoted as a low 16 stock.

must have some decent mods to knock off 1.5 or so seconds!

woody
Post #29

yes they quote a low 16 stock but my mate ran a 15.7, dead stock on his 1st pass, so for the few thousand i believe hes spent it hasnt gone much quicker. still not a bad time for a na 4 clylinder

Unfortunatley we have to make more power for the lack of toruqe that our engine produces. Untill someone comes to the party with a new set of cams for me?????

motor magazine has quoted our car at 16.1 for the stock '03 '04 models (which I feel and so do others a bit slow) as quite a few stockos have run mid 15's

Snowflake's Mods <- here is a link for those whom want to see the type of bolt on mods I have done.

Thx again for all the praise guys...it really does make me want to work harder on getting this car into the low/mid 14's biggrin.gif

Now wouldn't that be a funny sight.
