CrossCabriolet models GUID-8D5F7D33-7D9B-44A8-9BE5-A35572BF88C7
NISSAN recommends the use of unleaded premium gasoline with an octane rating of at least 91 AKI (Anti-Knock Index) number (Re- search octane number 96). If unleaded premium gasoline is not available, you may use unleaded regular gasoline with an octane rating of at least 87 AKI number (Research octane number 91), but you may notice a decrease in performance.

CAUTION

. Using a fuel other than that speci- fied could adversely affect the emis- sion control systems, and may also affect warranty coverage.

. Under no circumstances should a leaded gasoline be used, since this will damage the three way catalyst.

. Do not use E-85 fuel in your vehicle. Your vehicle is not designed to run on E-85 fuel. Using E-85 fuel can damage the fuel system compo- nents and is not covered by the NISSAN new vehicle limited war- ranty.

The seatback should not be reclined any more than needed for comfort. Seat belts are most effective when the passenger sits well back and straight up in the seat. If the seat- back is reclined, the risk of sliding under the lap belt and being injured is increased.

CAUTION

When adjusting the seat positions, be sure not to contact any moving parts to avoid possible injuries and/or da- mages.

SEATS

WARNING

. Do not ride in a moving vehicle when the seatback is reclined. This can be dangerous. The shoulder belt will not be against your body. In an accident, you could be thrown into it and receive neck or other serious injuries. You could also slide under the lap belt and receive serious internal injuries.

. For the most effective protection when the vehicle is in motion, the seat should be upright. Always sit

well back in the seat with both feet on the floor and adjust the seat properly. See “Precautions on seat belt usage” later in this section.

. After adjustment, gently rock in the seat to make sure it is securely locked.

. Do not leave children unattended inside the vehicle. They could un- knowingly activate switches or con- trols. Unattended children could become involved in serious acci- dents.
