Hey everyone,

What are your thoughts on Daylight Savings 4 QLD ? Should we introduce it ?

There are so many benefits to having extra daylight after work. Help me get support to get this introduced.

I love day light savings, stops me hating working days as much, still allows a good amount of time to enjoy the day after work smile.gif

There's a good reason why we have a different railway gauge to the other states... It's because we're simple. Daylight savings can GTFO.

Yeah, there are only 24 cans in a slab of beer, WTF would we do with the extra hour without beer to drink?

it wont ever come back... to many people that want to vote no just for the hell of it without any decent reasons... an hour extra of daylight makes sense being in the sunshine state... why sleep through it when we could be doing stuff with our families outside enjoying life.

My genuine reason is I can't be fcuked changing a clock

We need daylight savings, I don't really care about the extra hour, but I hate foxtel being stuffed, and I hate that Big Brother isn't live & Facebook posts ruin who is evicted an hour before I can see it!

It is a little weird(and a waste) driving into work at 5am in complete brightness like its the middle of the day.

all your devices that are linked to the interwebs change by themselves anyway. Can safely say, daylight saving is a positive thing.

How do you people get on,when daylight saving is operational, especially the guys at Coolangatta,or do you work with a different time system?

Aviation as far as the technical side goes is allways on UTC time. Local time is only used by the airlines themselves for the passengers.

No.... mostly because the changes it would mean programming wise with libraries and such all recognising Brisbane as being without daylight savings. Not really worth the cost to implement. Plus I'm too lazy to adjust that much god damn code.
