You've done a search throughout your whole computer? You might of accidently moved it? Sounds really weird. Possibly accidently deleted it maybe? Have you tried a system restore yet?

I'm surprise this post hasnt been locked due to the last bit laugh.gif

Anyhow on the current topic.... found it could also due to your IDE controller not supporting 48bit LBA.

The two post I found on google:

Never hit your problem before coz me C:\ is always less than 10G laugh.gif I give windows a 5 G partition of its own, so program can't "steal" all the space that windows can use and wise versa..

Them 2 url's need the Seagate partition tool.. In my case it was just Windows not being able to see all my hdds, which accumilate to over 500gb..

As soon as i put SP2 on, alot of the files began to show up.

How odd....
I've got 1.5TB which windows recognised quite nicely.. I've since moved all the HDDs to a *nix box, and it picks them up fine too.
