Anyone interested in a bit of a cruise up the north coast of Queensland one weekend in October, probably 20th or 27th? or later, I don't mind..



With a stop along the way to pick up Brisbanites of course!!!



Just trying to rustle up a bit of interest....



Don't mind who/what cars come.. more the merrier



******EDIT****** Since I forgot INDY weekend, now this is going to be NOVEMBER 10th... Availability?

The Destination for the time being seems to be Noosa, date still stands at the 10th of November... departing the Gold Coast around 8-8:30am picking up Brissie peeps a short time after..

Mattson, you'll have to come up with a bit of a plan!



Departing gold coast from where exactly at what time, and then heading to where in Brisbane to collect everyone else.. (possibly a south and north meet).. and how to identify the mob of cruises (say, you're blue wrx tongue.gif) ..



And then to where at Sunny coast tongue.gif

Oki Doki, ladies and gents, my plan so far...



8:30am absolute latest departure nerang maccas

9:30am arrivalnoosa heads..

12:45-2:45 lunch, beach, walks, etc

3:00pm, re-fuel, back to bris/gold coast

Re-fuel, bloody gas guzzeling turbos. tongue.gif But yeah sounds good, maybe spend some more time up the coast as it is a fair drive only to turn back around and come home.

Yeah we may even stick around till half three-four pm... thinking on the way up via the bruce highway, on the way back via the glass house mountains etc for some scenic views or vice versa..

I reckon some hills action on the way back would be awesome. Dont forget to warn everyone about speed cameras on the way up, they are in plague proportions on the Bruce Highway sad.gif



I'm in for sure, pick me up at Springwood Maccas smile.gif If someone nearby wants to come, we can take a passenger (resin f00l?). I'm keen as a bean. Keen as mustard. Keen as Commander Keen in episode 1 (he wasnt so ready for it in episode 2). etc.

Yeah the QLD WRX club should have a few cars coming along... Good for a decent cruise number biggrin.gif



If you wanna feel in place with the turbos go out and buy a rice boy fake turbo kit, a mock mesh intercooler for the front and a little speaker which wires into your shifter (somehow) to make a turbo spooling sound and BOV when you change...



HAHAHA



Oh updated info, Cruise will be out via the Bruce Highway to Noosa and Home via the Glass House Mountains....

far to manny cops and lack of good hooning roads up that way..



mooulabah is the place to be on a saturday night/sunday arvo?

yeh i agree, Noosa is cool, but Moolooba is a lil closer plus better beaches and more lovely ladies and more car lovers there too and better roads smile.gif
