I don't think you can but I think you can get a partial credit on rego remaining.

Can't be done.

Cancel the reg of the state you are in, obtain refund, obtain RWC, rereg in new state, skid.

Khubner dual??

OT: yes you will definitely need a RWC and pay new stamp duty if it's your first rego in new car, I have a feeling you can actually do this but it could just be the rego plates...

give QT a call Ph: 132380

where is everyone getting the idea he's transferring from interstate to qld?

I see it, along the lines of, OP has a QLD registered car and wants to put the rego from that car onto another car.....with the first car then being unregistered and the second now registered in QLD..

If, in this case, it's an interstate rego then tincan would be correct....

nope not a dual of mine and this exact question has been asked bfore.

you cannot directly transfer rego from one car to another. the new car will be registered in the same way any other car is and you can get a credit on the remaining portion of rego from the old car

pretty sure everyone would know twincam16 is definitely not your dual.....

fucks me why you would even post here, given your track record, with these sorts of questions...
