I notice in the forums that alot of ppl aren't content with juz cruising. Im flyin in the dark here but does boostcruising have like a members day/ night? Where mostly (depending on numbers) boostcruising ppl go out to somewhere an split up into there respective makes and participate in motorkhana against each other an stuff like that?



I would also like Mcleods thoughts on this.

We rarely organise anything in public anymore, and what we do organise is purely cruises that are stricly legal. I'm reasonably tired of the mis-interpretation that this site is 'street racing central'...



Sure, alot of people are becoming unimpressed with the cruising scene lately, but there's not alot that can be done.



We'll be organising some things in private shortly, but it's not going to be a solution of any description to many people. The 'cruising scene' is built upon the fact that large groups of car's can meet in a single place. All the possible venues are getting blitzed by the police and there's no options remaining. There is no alternative locations that are viable that will keep people happy.



*sigh* .. I've been too busy lately but I'm sure to jump into the scene in a big way again shortly.

would make for a fun day out!

good to meet somewhere where u can do stupid shit and not get harrassed

or even just meet up for a few beers???

our rally club runs a few motorkahanas and it can be expensive for insurance unless your part of a major organisation like CAMS, NASA or ANDRA. and it would be hard to find a venue. just talk to a few sporting car clubs if you want to do that then the entry fee would only be like $30 but for a group of people to organise something like that which are not a registered club it would be too difficult.

Insurance is fscked, just go as a casual meet (eg: say "Oh wow, Mcleod, cant believe you came here at the same time I did, what a coincedence")

yeah thats true thoguh i mean id rather help get the reputation up for boostcruising than bring it down. PHUK I HATE INSURANCE!!!! pisses me off too. Mabye l8er as Mcleod said.

$30 for 2 legal races in a nighty .VS. non-legal races where you get 10 races in a night.
