Hi everyone,

Is there a visual difference when looking at a JDM model s15 and an Aussie one. I have currently been looking at getting an Aussie S15 to get the turbo exemption but I cant see any visual difference. Can someone please help?

JDM rear bar has no reflectors, JDM has a silvia bolt on the bonnet not a nissan badge, jdm has silvia badge on the back, aussie has 200sx

So do most aussie ones these days.

the VIN number on the car will give it away.. Import ones are different (or at least used to be)

steering wheel badging should be different.

Externally the easiest thing to notice is a JDM S15 has a rear wiper blade. ADM do not.

But QLD transport won't care what it will look like they will work out if it meet the P plater requirements by looking at the VIN number to know what version it is.

On car sales most JDM S15s are under Nissan Silvia most ADM S15s are under 200sx.
