So Introduction
Name is Lauren, i am a very young 40 smile.gif I used to be big into the car scene, test and tunes and top fueler runs out at Willowbank and the old Powers Brewery runs. Have owned a heap of modified cars from 8's to 4 pots with hair dryers. Over the last few years i got into 4x4's and dropped out of the car scene.
Well i am back with a vengeance. I just said goodbye to my Hilux and now i am the happy new owner of a VT Berlina LS1. Everything on it has been done by previous owners including the LOUD exhaust system which i adore.
I have heaps of mods planned and a decent budget to work with these days biggrin.gif
Question, if i wanted to come out and just perv on nice rides where is the scene these days. I am looking for a meet like the old school Harrys. Not interested in skids or races. Dont want to attract that sort of attention. Just want to see some nice rides and meet nice people. My partner shares my taste in vehicles as well so it will be more about the social cruising scene for us. I just found out i missed a gathering at Masters Morayfield sad.gif

Hey Lauren,

First and third Friday of each month is oldschool night at Harry's... basically the harry's carparking area is reserved for anything either steel bumpered or carbeuretted. Modern stuff is forced to park elsewhere. Its a great night though.

Every thursday night is 'rice' night, however this is pretty much open to anything, and you do get a bit of a mixture as to what shows up.

For official events like shows and whatnot, keep an eye on the Shannons event calendar, that's usually updated with most things going on around the country - http://www.shannons.com.au/club/events/

Enjoy!

Awesome thanks, I will use the carpark across the road if its still open. Cant wait for some decent old skool action. I can live without the attention of stinkenba etc.
