Hey guys,

Selling my AU and I'm in need of a place to park it. I parked it outside a local park (where you're fine to park normally) and got a warning for advertising on council property, saying next time I'll get a $75 fine. I'm located on the Gold Coast, and wondering if anyone knows of any decent places to park my car for maximum advertising visibility, and preferably in a place where I wont attract attention from the council.

Not knowing the area I wouldn't know but the council around Ipswich have been making a killing over the past week fining people for advertising their cars by the road side. You are lucky you only received a warning.
Just have a for sale sign on your car and assuming it is roadworthy make sure you have one displayed, unknowingly coped a fine for that one.

Yep got the RWC visible. Currently advertised on the side of the road outside my house, hoping I won't get a ticket haha. I was thinking I could go to Nerang station early one morning, and park right at the front of the carpark. Would get lots of foot traffic past it at least.

So long as it isn't in the station carpark, or Queensland Rail will remove it pretty quick.
