Just wondering who would be interested in going to a Wednesday Night test n tune.



If there's enough interest we might look at meeting somewhere first and "cruising" out there. I found last time I went out it was better to get there around 6:00/6:30ish then you can get heaps of races in before everyone gets there.



Test'n'tune on Wednesday November 6th 2002. Gates open 5.00 pm. Runs commence 5.30 p.m. Adults $14, Students with ID $12. Kids 13 & under free. To race $30, admits driver and one crew.



Right.. who's interested?

its worthwhile coming just to see holdenbeater in action! i just hope I'll have a new clutch and fix my cv joint before then, otherwise i might have to go in someone elses car sad.gif I'd love to see how the RS goes since i've done the exhaust tho.

i reckon it'll be heaps busy, as the tracks been shut 4 a month. everyone has the same idea, even on a real busy night you get 4/5 runs. plus they're laying new surface so wont be the best traction.

Drags are good to watch and all but its all over in 14 seconds, (or 16 for me) How about you all come out to the next track day at Queensland Raceway and use some skill eh?

Well I might organise a meeting place.



How about the Hungry Jacks/Shell servo on Kessel's Road near Rocklea/Archerfield area. Around 6:00ish?



That way theres only one set of lights before the Ipswish Motorway so no one should be separated.



This all cool with everyone?

Hat eto tell you, but the traffic is really bad through the gailes/goodna/redbank area at that time of the day. Maybe you should make another meeting point on the cunningham highway?

I don't think cruising in a large group would be too successful at that time of day :-)



Make your own way down and meet up with some friends, I don't think a large meet during peek hour would work out..

Last time we went it was fine. There wasn't too much traffic. *shrugs*



I can't really think of anywhere that we could all meet before willowbank. What about the shell Servo at Gailes? I think its Gailes anyway. Just before the Ipswich toll road goes over the motorway?



Anyone got any ideas?

Who the hell organises a cruise in peak hour to goto a usually popular venue thats been closed for ages, allowing frustrated hoons to eagerly anticipate a trip out there?



Gee, THAT WONT BE BUSY.



You'll get fuck-all races in and you'll spend an hour getting there sitting in traffic. Make it a few weeks later. Stoopid heads.

Well apparently the track has been closed for about a month so everyone will be wanting to go and race.. So we thought we might leave it for a few weeks before attendng.



Maybe the next one after tomorrow night might be a goer.



I've been told not to organise anything so someone else can do it :roll:
