nice xr8 a friend of mine is selling hers.

but 412+ kw at the engine? and 297rwkw? thats 115kw power loss through the drivetrain. should look into yore drive train for problems lol.

got a dyno of that 297rwkw claim?

the reason for all that lost power guys is because of the wrong gearing ratio's.
do have dyno report just have to find it.

297rwkw, still with standard HO manifolds and 65mm maf and 55mm throttle body. am i missing something??? unless those pics are old, or the BBQ plate is hiding a blower.

also, what block are you using, as i didnt realise that you could stroke a 302 block beyond 347 cubes...

hey guys the only thing standard about the induction is the actual induction housing. all the induction internals have been ripped out and replaced.

and you can stroke it further it is a 368 pro stroker kit.

    what heads does it have?
    cam specs?
    roller rocker ratio?
    dyno sheets?
have you taken it down the qtr? it should be good for a low 13, high 12.

i am confused as to why it has lost so much power from the motor to the wheels?

as i said before it has the wrong gering ratios. it has lots of power through all of the gears. even in 5th it has exceptional acceleration. if J whacked a 6 speed box in it the gearing ratio's would dissapear. and it does a 12.2 qtr mile run. and that is pretty good for a NA falcon.

i am pretty sure you dont lose 115RWKW because of gearing.

one explaniation is he has a clutch from Direct Clutches... Their "good" clutches couldnt handle a mini moke.

does i have a single plate organic clutch?

if you do a dyno run in 4th with a 5 or 6 speed the ratio will be the same. 1:1.

I highly doubt that i would lose peak hp if i went from 4.11 diff gears to 3.08.

no he doesnt have a clutch from direct clutches. seriously man do u have a problem? whats with being so f#ckin picky about everything. thats how much power it has so get over it. just say what u think of the car and p!ss off.

    nice looking car, sure...

there is no way in hell it can lose that much power through the driveline.
