The first Diesel Assault Theme night of the year was looking like a great night until the rains came at about half past seven .. well 7:32 to be exact.
These nights are a huge success with heaps of soot monsters cramming the lanes to get a piece of the Willowbank strip. Over 100 entries and a heap of soot made this a crazy night considering only on track for 2 hours.
The highlights included a Nos powered hilux running low 12s and a Detroit Diesel tow rig runing 20s, with a decent turbo on the old girl it was a shock to here it spooling up and skidding the tires up.
