This is just a suggestion, but what if we change the destination, still keep the same meeting spots, but head through coolangatta and up to Pt Danger lookout, its right on the border, literally there's a line showing the border! So we'll be safe there, and there's a really nice beach and areas to eat and takeaway places. Also a beautiful spot for photos. I think this will be much safer for most of us as the majority going on this cruise are on their P's i imagine. Thoughts anyone?

I really cant beleive your changing the destination because your too scared to put on your P's.

whats the big deal? Why not byron?

And anna your not going to fit 30 cars at point danger the locals will be in most the spots. especially at lunch time.

My vote stays with byron. i can go to point danger any day - only a 5min drive for me.

It's not that we're scared to put on p plates, but none of us even own p plates as we dont need them here, and i know that most people wont go out and buy them, so for the majority it's safer not to go to byron, especially since there's apparently Op: North Roads on at the moment targetting this specifically. Just trying to look out for people and save everyone some money from fines and points.
There's plenty of beach areas around Coolangatta and Pt Danger if we dont all fit in one car park.
Just want a nice easy day out to enjoy the sunshine and meet some new people. It's not a long drive for me either but it's still a nice place to go and socialise.

It's probably most logical for everyone to fend for themselves with food, that way we dont buy too much and have to waste stuff. So if you want to have a bbq there then bring the food you will eat, or you can go to cafes or takeaways that are in the area, there's plenty of them!!

yep i am out, the combo of work and a car that has a spilt personality, 1 day perfect 1 day shit house (not really that bad but it is annoying me none the less)

Not to be confrontational, but would just like to ask why this cruise is on the same day as the SID's cruise ??

Personally I would like to come down and have a cruise with some fellow Skyline's, but morally I would be better off donating to a worth while charity while cruising.

Can anyone help me make a descision ?

I personally had no idea there was a SIDS cruise on this sunday as well, and i am guessing that the other skyliners coming didn't know either. It's totally up to you which cruise you decide to go on, if you feel you'll be able to sleep better on sunday night if you go to the SIDS cruise then so be it tongue.gif But you are definitely welcome to come with us too. So, might see ya there!
