Who was it that told you the diffs are different?? Maybe there are other reasons its taking too long?? It appears they are the same diff so someone may be spinning you a yarn. Either way if it were me Id be pissed and want to know what was going on. |

It appears they are the same diff so someone may be spinning you a yarn. Either way if it were me Id be pissed and want to know what was going on. as it turns out, someone has misinformed me. i rang arb myself and was told that there are no differences in the diffs, although we just found out my truck has 4.44 diffs instead of the standard 4.11. but arb told me that as long as the part number was the same, it will fit, as longs as it ahs the 5omm carrier bearings, not the old 45mm. so we;re now trying to figure out wtf is going on, as either the bloke whos fitting them doesnt know what hes on about( its not beau fitting them) of wether someone has put the wrong locker in the box, as the part no on the box is correct. and if thats the case, look out arb! QUOTE(booflux @ Jul 19 2007, 01:56 PM) With the crawler gears, and the setup you have you would still be very capable even without lockers The GU we were with on Tuesday surprised me where it went unlocked with a minimum of fuss. thanks boof. ive got no doubt im my mind that the truck wont be capable with just the crawlers(45% reduction). but would of been nice to have my locker too. oh well just 2 months to wait. aparntly, when they had they're special on lockers( buy one and get a free compresor) they completly sold out of stock. at least i know ill be getting the newer improved model. lol |
