So much effort has clearly been put into this to get it started, yet no one is laying down the cash?

Agreed, by the looks of it a lot of work has gone into these, the least we can do is support the site. And really, it's not as though you can't spare $10 for a piece of high-quality, practical equipment.

Early next week seems more realistic, we struggled with getting the design approved over the past week...

Just some hassles with having such a detailed lanyard, something the production company isn't used to, but it'll be well worth it.
