You could probably get a brand new Golf GTi for that much.

Or even the GTD. Click here.

He said four seats.

Maloo is a two seater, I must have missed that.

I would also look at a 370z.

Or for a bit less $$ a 08/09 350 Track (way better looking imo as well)

maybe look at the fpv GS's
5L supercharged V8, starting at about $50,000, might be ok if you can talk the price down / save a little bit more?

Probably this if you could save a bit more or haggle them down.

If not then defs a F6 or Maloo drool.gif

I would definitely consider one of those GS Falcons. They're pretty tough looking but for me if I was spending that money I don't think I would go past a Golf GTI.

What sort of money are fg F6's going for?

Start at like 45K up to 60K for ones with less then 10,000kms.

I would say an evo 9 or 10, a hsv or a fpv f6.

OR for similar price range you could get a 2010 Golf R... biggrin.gif

Maybe in Woodridge or the Stains as you "roll through the hood" with shit music blaring.............

Toyota Chaser, 4 doors, 5 seats, 6 cylinder turbo charged. With the money left over, you could easily build it up to 600hp reliabe sitting on less than 1500kg. And you would still have money left over.

Audi B7 S4 if you want to try Euro V8 AWD.

Wait a few years and get an ft-86?

Would fit your criteria if you could find a second hand one haha.

If those cars are going for $45k no one will ever buy them.

Golf R32 or maybe S3. You might be able to get a 130i also?

Are you willing to look outside BMW for non-Aussie?
And are you after at least as much performance as from your last car?
[/quote]

Yes considering all options. Yes an no, I know nothings is going to balls out as much as my R8 was (for my budget anyways) But still want something that can overtake other cars quickly, fuel consumption and all that shit doesn't really bother me, so performance and comfort are my two biggest points I think.

Had 2 GTRs. A silvia, A skyline, a 180sx, handful of SS utes, and 3 bikes, one of which 05 ZX10R.

Sticking to new and relatively stock now, had enough toys.

No I didn't, 2 seats or four seats, not fussed, just me and the missus.

2007 WRX STi 6 speed manual sedan. Around $5K and an instant 240Kw@wheels daily driver, with excellent fuel economy. Should also have change left over...

What are they like on fuel, I get so many mixed stories, as they are all time AWD? Where as GTR's are rear, then front active when slip. SO the motors driving 4 wheels all the time instead of two?

QUOTE (GHOSTY @ Apr 14 2011, 11:40 PM) *

No offense to mitsubishi owners, but they don't rate in my books.

QUOTE (Akshunhiro @ Apr 15 2011, 01:02 AM) *
Should buy a 2007 R8 Clubsport.

Seriously though, why would you part with something like that?

Ex-lease car I bought from my old job, 120,000kms, out of warranty, etc etc.

Either, have had turbos, twin turbos, 8's, 6's and 4's

G35/G36/G37 Infinti 350/360/370GT = U.S

Your inventing some cars here.

To O.P. after seeing what those HSV's are capable of I would not sell one of those if I had it already

Do alot of Km's, had to sell my R8 as it was 120,000km+

Now looking to go newer/less kms, I'd settle for another HSV, I just want to see what people suggest if I'm not sticking with HSV

Could you be more full of shit? Maybe the 5.4 litre boss but the new 5l Supercharged Coyote engines, even in the detuned 315kw engine of the GS is a quicker car than any HSV they currently make (basing on magazine tests only... Cars tested same track at the same time)

To the OP have a look/drive of the FG G6ET and XR6T, you wont be dissapointed. FG F6 is even better...... Otherwise id say maybe a Golf R32 or Golf R or E46 M3 BMW....
