Maybe a rebuild thread. I'm thinking about ditching the turbo and putting a supercharger on it. Apparently they can get more HP and torque out of these engines with this setup.

Need a bigger turbo if that's the case :P.

Haha try having a redline at 3400rpm and see how you go :P Plus the turbo on it already is pretty big. I'm going to do more research, if it's not a huge power gain, no point spending the money, it's already as torquey as fuck.

It's not too difficult. If they were expensive rims, I would be a bit more hesitant to do but they are stock 18's off a CJ VRX. Wet/dry sanded the gutterrash until most of the gutterrash was gone. I think next time I might use some putty to fill the deep scrapes.

Used my awesome electronics skill and know how to dodgy up an air con fan regulator.

It's common for VN-VS Commodore air-con fans to stop working on settings 1 and 2 but for 3 and 4 to work fine. That's because Holden are dodgy kents and deciding to use open air filaments to regulate voltage. That shit isn't going to last very long. The medium sized filament had erroded into two bits and prodding at it with a screwdriver caused it to disintegrate.

So i asked Kerry Holden for a replacement, $80 they quoted me for a replacement that would arrive in December. I laughed and drove down to Jaycar and picked up 4 resistors and 2 heatsinks (for good measure) for a whopping $4.

Works well (for now most likely) and the air con is whisper quiet.

Ran my finger down the side of her and left a big trail of white where I wiped the dust off. Probably give it a good clean up this week sometime. Brakes need to be looked at, on drive home from work they started grinding and grating a bit. Shuoldn't be the pads because the damn things weren't long ago replaced. =/

Committed genocide on the spider kingdom... In other words washed the Nissan and watched spiders scurry trying to escape the pressure washer. Would hit the wheel wells, seams etc and 5 or so would scurry out. Also replaced the battery....
