Put me down for the "it looks shit" vote.
Question though, what happens when stickers start to fade/peel?

If you spray a clear coat over the top it protects them from both wink.gif

Lets get a southern cross sticker, then the same in a tattoo... oh wait, we could also die our hair with cat piss, walk around town carrying a football, pretending to pass it into complete straqngers saying "naaaa, only jokin LAD"
(Alf Steward voiceover guy) This is Australia cu*ts, we fail at creating our own trends that work..!! (voice off)

use decent quality vinyl and prep the surface right, and they should be fine for a few years with general everyday use.
ideally, get them printed as an entire sheet, instead of hundreds of small ones and they will last muchhh longer.

or yeh clear coat if you are super keen. a lil harder to peel off down the track if you change your mind or whatever though.

i got a spare one of these if someone wants it for a 6-pack of jim beam cans

its about 600mmx400mm, one sheet.
im doin my centre console with the same one. will post pics of results.

I think it's honestly impossible to do purposely rusted panels right. Why do a resto on a car when you can just leave the shell a rusted piece of shit? Sounds like people just wanted to buy cars out of inbred peoples front yards and put shiny wheels on them and call them modified.

IMO it's a case by case senario.

Though you are right on one point. Though if I bought a rusted heap and kept it looking ratrod-ish, I wouldn't call it modified unless it had some rediculous power house under the bonnet.
