I'm not sure GTR32_godzilla was even present. I only shot one R32, and it was identified as being someone else's, so it's possible that he wasn't even there. When I made that post, the "other side of the world" bit referred to the fact that he had his location set as "WA", which I assumed to be Washington rather than Western Australia. Since then he's changed it to Brisbane, but I suspect maybe he's not from Brisbane at all. I dunno, don't care really.

What happened was I was shooting the black R33 out the front, and some little dude walks up and says "are you pawz off boost" and I said "yeah why ?" and he goes "no reason" and walks off.. then a minute later this big-assed dude with a shaved head and gold chains and shit comes up and starts getting in my face and saying he's gonna pound me and that "people take stuff you say on the internet very seriously so you'd better have the balls to back it up or I'll smash your fucken camera and leave you bleeding in the gutter". I just apologised and explained it was just a joke and asked if I could speak to GTR32_godzilla in person, coz it didn't seem to be this dude, but he kept threatening me so I just walked away, but him and his mates kept oggling me the rest of the night and pointing at me, so me and my mates went home (we'd finished shooting anyway).

I have no idea whether GTR32 was the little guy, the big guy, or wasn't even present (I suspect the latter), but it sorta turned me off Harry's for a bit. Anyways, I only went to take photos, and I did plenty of that (sorry, JustDave deleted the photo thread though because of the offtopic discussions). Shame The Spit is gonna be overcast tomorrow, otherwise we'd be there. Oh well, there's that car show next Saturday, so we'll be at that I reckon. Fuckheads don't scare me, but it's sad that you have to carry a weapon just because people want to bash you over a stupid joke on a forum. I carry about $6k worth of gear on me, so I'm always afraid of being robbed, but I wouldn't pull something out just coz of someone threatening me.

Only real harm done was to Harry's reputation as a cool place to go

Because the RX7 made so much noise, dumped the clutch and just about spat himself into the median strip then proceeds to try again (failing) on the opposite side of the road where people were on the foot path. The Commodore and the other cars that did the u-turn were wankers. The silver Commodore was close to losing it a few times. Someone is going to get hurt in a big way soon. I have been there when accidents have happened and in all instances they could have been avoided..

People previously used to sit across the road on the retaining wall and stand on the foot path to observe and stay out of the way, now they simply block the drive way with alcoholic drink in hand dribbling shit. I was one of the last cars to leave and there were still plenty of dickheads around so they either left their cars at home or simply don't own one and are there to cause shit..

The Ferrari was nice but had a weird exhaust note..

There was no one sitting beyond the keep left sign of the median strip when he had done it, if people wanted to be stupid and STL then they were doing it in the right spot.

Had to laugh at the guy that nearly fell off his bike, fail wheelstand.

Fuck didn't it ever, sorry racer83 but if I paid that much for a car and it sounded like that then I would cry myself to sleep at night.

hmm interesting read. I haven't been to Harrry's in a few weeks now, actually probably a couple of months, because of the young shits that are there now.
They obviously think they are in-destructable, until someone gets hurt, or worse, killed.
Even when you go to skids on a saturday night, you see kids standing on the road not far from where they are doing skids.
