Wow...didn't really expect that. Looks like going opposite lock the second time with that much power just flicked the car over. But at least he stayed calm and as soon as the car stopped is looks like he pulled that kill switch pretty fast...

Wouldn't wanna be in the same situation!

A lovely story, but whats it got to do with anything? I never claimed to know what to do in that situation, he did. I was merely pointing out that with 20/20 hindsight and the luxury of being able to watch the video calmly from a chair at home everyones an expert.

Man in the time he was waiting for the car to stop sliding he could have made a cup of coffee, and he just seems to get out like nothing happened ohnoes.gif

Everyone is saying he overcorrected etc, I reckon he could have avoid the situation by going to his wife's tupperware party instead of the track.

I bet he relised there was a problem when he saw a red hexagonal sign that with white letters saying "POTS"

"As soon as i hit 3rd the car steped out big time and that was it.
The track was cold and i was greedy and paid the price.

went 100 on the hood through the 1/8 and crossed the 1/4 in 14.7 @ 37 or so.

I'm fine and the car is not that bad. Gona start fixing it this weekend and try it all over again in the spring
