ive got a single stage boost controler...how long does it take to normally fit it yourself with a mate.. ? i do have to remove some piping to get to the turbo, a friend said around 1/2 a day for a decent job

isn't a single stage boost controler just a bleed valve? all you need is a t piece and some vacume pipe, that'd take all of 5 minutes I reccon.

a single stage means you can run factory or high boost setting!!!!

i use one and its exacly the the same as dual stage but yeah the low boost is not adjusale!!!

holden beater you are playin with fire mate and its going to cost you alot of money!!!!!

ohhh and have you even checked if you turbo has a waste gate????? cause as i said i havent seen the new hilux yet but most diesels dont have them!!!! this meens you cant up the boost!!!

boost controllers are shit easy to install cut one vac hose and stick a tee piece in and wire up the controler 3 wires from memory!!!

but as i said you are dancing with the devil and it will cost you over 10,000 dollars if you stuff up

im only winding it up when the intercooler goes on perhaps 1-2 psi, seeing its already running 11psi stock i think a few extra wouldnt hurt as i got a artical that shows me that they have had this engine @ 1bar with no problems and 90 something @ wheels but i aint going that far...

neway hehe i gota start savin my money and not spending it

no i am just warning you of the warranty cause it will be void. eg your axle seal starts leaking, you will not be coverd

i see it every day 100series cruiser, au falcons vx comms etc come in with heaps of faults that have to be covered by warrenty!! so if it was mine i would not be touching it!!!

Holden beater blown is right man. Do you really wanna be fucking around with your work ute? why don't you get a second car or someshit and fuck with that that way if it screws up you still have your reliable work ute. I have a friend who works at a car dealership and if there is anyway whatsoever they can get out of covering a warranty they will. Even if you put it back to stock they will say this is not normal blah this would have only happend if you had done blah.

In short. prolly not the best idea to fuck with your work ute dude.
