i so wish i could make this cruise... unfortunately I am gonna be at sommerset for that weekend skiing... Any chance I could get a Time of travel through sommerset closer to the date so i could maybe tag along for the sommerset to glorious leg?

i know how ya feel man sunday = penalty rates but screw it gonna be the first cruise with my 34 so why not.

Gotta get myself a UHF radio before this don't wanna miss out on all the shenanigans that you only get to catch on to thanks to radios

say one of the cruise get pulled up , do u all stop to let them know youl're in the car scene for all the rite reasons? or do u let them catchup or stop a few km down the road?? just curious??? cheers

Do people cruising up wanna meet at aspley maccas at approx 7:45-8:00am at aspley maccas before heading up? Just rock up within that timeslot as ideally we'd wana head off at 8am

Its going to be about a 300km trip from start to finish (At Samford). There is a servo for all that need more fuel at Kilcoy which is about halfway through the trip. Everyone that doesnt need fuel will continue to the meet at Somer Set Dam. The rest can meet us there when fueled up. Below is an attached mao or the route we will be taking and everyone will get more detailed directions and a map on the day at the first meet smile.gif

Maybe inform the police about the cruise. I'm sure most BIG cruises were done that way to avoid any problems from them. If Dave can write a letter which says this is gonna be featured in a car magazine, it wouldnt be sus at all.

Just wondering, which way are you heading into landsborough and beerwah????

Are you taking the Caloundra/sunny coast exit????
Or heading in from south end of steve irwin way and go straight to beerwah and skip landsborough


And yeah, how strong do we think the police presence will be????
was thinking of running the carbon bonnet and shotgun tips
