Does anyone remember the results form Indy last year for the V8's? I noticed that Rick Kelly is only about 100 points off Ambrose in the points system so I'd like to see who is the better on the street circut between these two.

Yes those tyres were destroyed alright weren't they! At least it wasn't a Dunlop problem tho.

As for the Kangaroo, if I was AVESCO, especially Cochran I would be deeply embarrassed with this being shown through out the world. What happens when they go to China? Do they have to look out for Panda's on the track dunno.gif It's just unacceptable by todays standards.

Looks like i got my 1st & 3rd place predictions correct tongue.gif
and in my top 5 i had murphy-ambrose-bowe-lowndes-richards
and i think 4/5 of those predictions got the in the top 5 thumbsup.gif
Murph should of worn a spiderman outfit on his last 10 laps @ bathurst.

With the geography of Mt Panorama, it's virtually impossible to stop roo's getting on the track, unless you build a 40 foot high fence in some parts of the track..... and with it being a public road for most of the year, that would be pretty impractical.
Roo's, rocks, rowdy fans and unpredicatable weather...... it all adds to the mystique of the mountain and gives it character that is seen no where else in the world i reckon.

I just wish the silly little marsupial jumped out in front of a certain K-Mart car on about lap 160!! tongue.gif ..... i would have loved to see Seton and Lowndes get up and win it for Ford!
But Murph and Kelly ran the better race, so good on 'em! thumbsup.gif

Highlight of the weekend was watching the A9X do a lap against Skaife.... obviously outclassed in speed and handling but gimme that unrefined growl of the A9X anyday!

to my suprise, the Ford contingent did feature heavily in the top 10... guess thats what happens when you run perfectly good Holdens off the road..
luckily they couldnt catch Murph... otherwise i bet someone woulda put him into a wall also.

Holden drivers just can't stay on the track. Or dodge wild life. Least with Johnson, hitting a 30cm tall rock is passable - hitting a 1.2M tall roo is retarded.

I wonder if Rick is gonna hold up his bet.
