Anyone know where in Brisbane I can get the ECU for my R32 Gts-T remaped?

I've been taking my car to bob romano at morningside and he seems to do a very good job. And has a lot of experience with imports....I'd recomend him.

Not enough...There is never enough....NEVER!!!

I need my fuel mixtures tinkered with. It might be going fast now, but if it is not running safely then it won't stay that way. I took the car to John Whitacker at Bris turbo & tuning. On the dyno it shows my fuel problems, but he can't remap the ECU. And i'm not paying big dollars for an aftermarket ECU when I know the one in it can be altered.

So Rob Romano can remap this ECU?

I was always under the impression that the r32 ecu was quite flexible (compared to the r33). You've just got to find someone with the software to be able to change settings on your fuel maps while on the dyno and an eprom burner to copy the data to a new chip....I'm not 100% that bob romano can do this work but I'd be surprised if he couldn't...just give him a call

Romano is a wanker, he wont remap the standard ECU he'll just try and sell you a new one. Chiptorque is probably one of the few places that will remap the standard ECU.

Apexi SAFC costs (at best) $400-$500. Plus pay someone expensive dyno time to tune it. Add say $200 (at best) to the initial cost.

For less than the cost of tuning I can get the ECU remapped with better maps. Surely this makes sense?

Have organised with a guy in Melbourne who can burn roms. He has a heap of improved fuel maps allready made up. I wiil send ECU to him, he does job, and sends it back. He says is a bout 3 or 4 day turn around depending on mail.
