I'm waaaay open for helping organise the next one. Fuck it, I don't want the next one to be in a year, let's make it closer, hold it at say 'Southbank Parklands' in the open forecourt (next to the eye of brisbane, as long as security don't crack the shits). Get B105 up and at it to crack open the BBQ. Get a few news channels down to have a look from 7/9/10. Get the courier mail down there to do a story. |

the clowns in the ea falcon dropped a skid in front of us and the babes in the supra,fucken idiot,hes the clowns that ruin the day for the rest of us.dont get me wrong i love and can do a great skid but time and place.not on the way to a meeting spot with modified cars all around.the public already have a low opinion of us and when they see that we are all targeted,cheers |

Also as a suggestion, You can contact Redbull, They will send the girls down to hand out redbull to everyone.. It's free, you just have to fill out an event info form.. I've done it on a couple of my cruises, and it's great! Everyone loves free stuff.. Just make sure you give yourself PLENTY of time to organise everything, as you want it pretty much spot on if it's going to be in the eye of the public, news, B105 etc.. Communication and Organisation is the key!  |

Hell, if you wanted to go all out, let's see if we can get some kids from the royal brisbane hospital who are patients down to have a sit in some of our cars. sounds like a great idea but its not that easy to get B105 and all the news channels involved even if it is for charity...... we have contacts and they still dont really come out to our charity events! ive been working for a fairly big charity now for 4 years and our major sponsors are The Daily and HOT91FM .. we had a bit of interest from ABC and i was on channel 7 a few months back.. but not much media attention at all! red bull are keen for anything though.. they're been to all our events.... they would be in for sure!!! |
