That question would be better asked in the dift setup forum... so go to the top of your screen, click where it says 'drifters apex', then click on the link to the tech/setup section. |

its still at willowbank dah, didnt mention anything about the drag raceing, and willowbank is a suburb not just a dragway LOL. Willowbank is known as the 'Drag Strip' and QR (Queensland Raceway) is known as the 'Race track'. |

Painted the front and rear bumpers body colour, and repaitned the trim piece that sits beneath the headlights and grill also. Didnt take long, but then again I didnt do a HUGE job on it. Just a rub back with 18, then 360 then 600 to get the burrs and scratches out. Picked up a litre of paint mixed from the paint code, at autobarn. Also got a litre of clear. and a 4L tin of cheap acrylic thinners. I have an air compressor and gravity feed paint gun. Looks good! however i think on my next day off i will also do the side body strips cos they look REALLY out of place now. You can see in one of the pics, the tinted taillights and black boot garnish. Looks good IMO, and shows up great with the stovetop lights on! Trying to get the car looking a bit better, i dont want it to be branded a complete drift pig. shit that looks way different!!! It looks awsome now!!! Good job!!! Now give my compressor back so i can finish the race engine off!!!! hahaha!!! |

Hi guys looking to increase my camber angle on the front of my R31 Skyline sedan. What is involved? i hear the term 'camber kit' thrown around a fair bit but nothing is ever that easy, right...? I did a search of the forum but every single thread in drift tech has the word 'camber' in it and lifes too short to read through every single page hoping to stumble across an answer. . How much camber is recommended and how do I go about achieving it? What are the benefits of running a greater camber angle? Should the alignment be set to slightly toe-in or toe-out? Bear in mind that this is really a track only car - it doesnt get street driven much, is usually on a trailer. My future setup (within the next week or so hopefully), is to get -1 to -1.5 camber on the rear and around -2.5 on the front. Basically should all camber setups depend on the power you have, and the grip you need. |

If u want to learn how to do chamber and toe in or out...come around and have a look at the race car...as the race car runs -3 chamber and it is running toe out which is around -1.5 i think!!!! The advantage of this...is that you have better grip/handling/steering...you have everything!!! Ill teach you how to set it up...ive done it on the race car!!!! |

Fitted my Cat back 2.5" exhaust system with supercat muffler to the car last night. Took about 40 minutes with a race jack, couple of chassis stands, 14 and 12mm sockets and a breaker bar. |

Next time i have an opportunity to get out and go for a slide in it i'll get some footage and youtube it and put up a link. The car has changed a LOT since i picked it up. Good thing is that im doing it in stages (as I can spend the money on it really) which is allowing me to feel the effects of the modifications im doing power-wise, handling wise, and interface wise (pedals, shifter, wheel, etc). |

No worries. I figure there is a lot of us with 31's who want a to get a bit more out of them enjoyment wise, so im trying to give an accurate account of what really needs to be done, AND what it costs etc. But i guess that anyone building a cheap drift car no matter the make model can have a read and get some ideas. |

The kit comes with the manifold to block and manifold to turbo gaskets. I have heaps of studs for nissans in various shapes and sizes due to my neighbour being a nissan mechanic. |
