If you think it's worth $7500, then only pay that. If they won't come, move on and look elsewhere. |

Considering how much I'd have sold my Lancer for, 3 years ago I would say 8200 is way overpriced. Maybe like 6-7k? People need to get a grip on the reality of the current economic situation and what it does to used car values. Those people would get a rude shock if they went trade in. Note I'm talking about pretty much every single one of those carsales ads. Pretty much most of them are dreaming. Especially the guys who think a 7 year old lander with 150k on it is worth more than 50% of it's new value.. What the fuck |

I know that its worth what i am willing to pay for it but YOU people KNOW what cars are worth. Obviously if the car is worth 10k and i pay 40k its not worth what i paid for it . |

QUOTE(luxo-barge @ Feb 27 2009, 12:56 PM) ^ the boring 2nd hand car market has died because all of the money concious non-enthusiast XT/executive-driving buyers are out. For those who want something special or performance wise, the market is still strong. People will pay what they believe the cars are worth. An exec commodore doesn't pull anyone's heart strings. An SS will. Simple really. i wouldn't say that, i struggled to sell my vy ss 6 speed, 300rwkw, heads, cam, mafless tune, extractors, exhaust, clutch etc etc, just done 100 thousand km even, i got $16,500 and i seriously never raced it, babied the whole time, also had nice rims on it etc and it was friggin mint condition! |

QUOTE 300rwkw, heads, cam, mafless tune, extractors, exhaust, clutch etc etc Therein lies your problem. Even enthusiasts will prefer a stock SS and modify it later than to buy one already done. Why? Becuae then they no its done right. Everyone who is not an enthusiast but "just want a v8" will also steer away from modified examples. thats just the way it is. |

If $7,500 is what you are willing to pay, and they are asking $8,*** then that seems fair to me. |
