Post #1 post 25th February 2009 - 07:01 PM
Engine: 2.3L DISI turbocharged 4cyl 16 valve DOHC

Exhaust: Hi Flow CatBack exhaust system

Suspension: stock

Wheels: 19x7.5 Jet chromes

Modifications: It has extractors and pod filter (which i will shroud this weekend)

Stereo Audio / Visual: Stock Bose sound system (will add 1000W monoblock to run 2x12" Type S subs - I will use the stock 6 disc mp3 player so i will also add the RCA conversation box aswell)

Estimated Power: roughly about 207KW ...i think....i will dyno tune soon....when i get the money bowrofl.gif

Future Modifications: bigger turbo (maybe a garret) and some low king springs with the guards rolled and possible flaired out a bit. More mods to come when i get the money. LOL

Be gentle with comments. More pics soon.

217 at the wheels? with a pod and exhaust? I seriously doubt that.

These are only making 190 at the fly stock.

you're all retards, 190kw and 380nm factory. Mazda Australia MPS3

Extractors bowrofl.gif and 217rwkw....don't think so bud ~160rwkw is the norm.

Nice cars either way, just do your research before dropping the $$$ on mods. There are a few fools out there selling crap that makes things worse.

Doesn't look too bad, but I personally don't like these.

might want to invest in an LSD before you pour more power into that thing

friend of mine has one, handled like a bar of soap on takeoff

The tiny turbos on these are running at alomost full boost stock. To get anywhere near 200+ at the wheels, a new turbo is required, a nice tune (to remove the throttle limiter in first and second gear) and an LSD.

A Mazda 6 MPS AWD drivetrain would help too! There was one created somewhere.... somebody can google it.

a bigger turbo? jesus, much power for a fwd without an lsd. torque steer would get a bit much

nonetheless, its a nice car. do like

Good tune , full exhaust + intake will see 200kw ATW easy, has been proven time and time again.

AWD conversion = Mega $$$$$ be cheaper to buy a 6MPS

Removing torque limiter achieves nothing apart from frying tyres.

You sir must be a retard if you pick up on such a simple typing error and decide to make light of it. To make it easy for you to understand, I should have typed 217 kw ATW bowrofl.gif mamoru.gif head_wall.gif moron!!!

You have something to suggest otherwise? Not having a go but that's been my limited experience. Anywhere between very low 160kw ATW up to 170kw ATW.

Always better erring on the side of caution when quoting dyno figures don't ya reckon?
