hey just wondering if anyone new anything about changing the guards on a 95 model toyota hilux single cab? its just too plain lowered without that nice bulk look you get when u change out the front guards.. i was wondering where ide get the guards from and how much it would cost roughly?

if ur looking for 4wd guards u can get em brand new, non genuine at panel house slacks creek for $110 each. they have all parts like grilles (bout $110), front bars (4wd)($220), bonnets, plastic head lights, halogen bulbs, corner lamps, front bar crystal lights and pretty much any other part if ur willing to pay. it isnt a bad price tho. there is a 4x4 wrecker that has gaurds for about 60 each 2nd hand fairly clean (no dints) a bit past ipswich. its all pretty easy to find. gl with the build up plans. would like to c some pics and hear how u go. |

yea mate, iv done my 99 luxy up a bit its good fun, alot of people on here dont like the whole idea of minitrucks or wateva u wana call em. i was considering doing exactly wat your doing with your mates, getn an old luxy, c notch it n bag it, slowly turn it into a show car. but my mates are tightarses haha. gd luck with it, love to see some pics, keep us updated! |

yer and surfer h those guts are gay with there little ricer burns that most standard luxes would kill anyways haha (especially those 2.7 99 ones they surprised me and go really well lol). Alot of guys on here are total douches and just wish they knew something about cars/utes. For example the other day i was reading something about some guy wanting to twin turbo his laser or lancer or something and people were saying they just bolt up to the standard motor haaahahahahhahahaha. i can laugh at that shit all day. |
