10:30 meet at aspley maccas for a 11 depart



Ahoy . now this is just to put my feelers out for a trip out to lake baroon, i did the run about 2 years ago and its a l33t drive,

lake baroon is just north of maleny , and it has a wonderfull view and a good bbq area for thos that are intersted.

all in all its not a usual * gets drive for 20 mins and stop and chin wag.* its a good nice drive with some good stops along the way ,

all up the trip is about 2 hours or so including a stop . and maleny does have shops that are about 10 mins from the lake,

date is set to 30th ( sungay )

our final desitation is lake baroon in north maleny, Just so you know. this isnt a usual 1 hour drive. this is a good long drive, so be prepaird. make sure you fill up b4 aspley,


the plan is ,
Jumping on gimpie road From aspley . and heading straight up the hiway to beerburrum , we will be then exiting on to the glass house mountains road ,

We will follow the glass house mountains road untill landsbourough, where will cross over into landsbourough-meleny road ,

we keep following this directly to maleny ( there are some steap sections of road, so make sure you have checked your coolant ect ect b4 departing , last time a vk gave up the ghost half way up )

once into maleny . we go down teak st, and follow a mase of roades out to the lake,

its quite simple, 


i havent listed any regroup spots. till i know how many cars we have show up . usualy 50% of people that put there name down dont show. and there for the group will be much easer to handle 

UHF's ARE recomended highly . if you dont have one. dont fret . just stick close to some one that does have one 

i recomend that you have also a ubd with you . incase you do find your self lost / seperated from the pack, at the same time , i dont mind giveing out my mobile number on the day if some one has a issue

Sounds like fun...i've done that drive a few times and it's good fun. The lake is a perfect place for a BBQ and it's a great view also.

Yeah sounds like a plan stan....there is plenty of space and shit there for people to park and plenty of area to cook and eat and have a chat.

Yes every one is invited. even tho its a s13 cruise and i would like to see alot of s13s due to the success of juzzys s13 cruse

basicly im orginseing this for him due to his incodent with his car sad.gif doesnt look like he would have the time to keep something like this orginsed * poort s13 *

I'd prefer 5 june, but beggars cant be choosers, i'll go with whatever you ppl decide for the date.
